This natural oil comes from cloves. It delays the drying of colours.
If you notice that your colours are beginning to dry on the palette, add clove oil as a liquefying agent drop by drop.
This oil is also suitable for use in the pen.
It can be used as a substitute for turpentine, with a much more pleasant smell.
However, cloves are more corrosive and aggressive than other oils such as lavender oil.
This medium can be used with Schjerning lead or lead-free colours
